Bauhn 100W GaN Universal Charger $69.99 @ ALDI

100

I saw the previous deal for a 100w charger on Amazon for $61. This one does slightly higher wattage on the USB C3 and USBA ports, and could be more useful for someone.
USBC1/C2 100W
USBC3 50W
USBA 30W
Looks to be this one https://bauhn.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/23193-APTAMC…

There's also the Power Bank with wireless charging. I do have a different 27k Bauhn powerbank and it has held up well.

  • can you not get these online through their website?

  • I couldn't find the powerbank in store here in SA. Online store checker shows both charger and powerbank available but its not in store. Any idea?

How is Bauhn, similar quality to Samyung and Pansonic?

    • +5

Aldi home brand that would be similar to any generic Alibaba product.
Quality is similar to any 5/6 letter soup all caps brand (ZYRON, HEYMIX, NOVOO). At least there's some certainty of refund.
Always hold on to the receipt till warranty expires.

  • Just curious, wouldn't this Amazon be better option (only $1more after applying all avail coupons) expensive… Looks like more power for relatively same money and no need to worry about local Aldi stock.

    • Agree. Or the ever popular UGREEN range that is frequently posted here, which always seems to have great feedback and can be had for $10-$15 cheaper for a similar product. I take OPs point about the slightly higher wattage for specific ports though.

(profanity) no,these generic amazon "printed" ones are dogshit that won't ever hit the marked ratings

        There's tiers in Amazon electronics.

F tier - those rubbish brands similar to what OP posted. Yucky, and likely to start a fire.
C tier - smaller real brands such as Heymix and Zyron. A few lemons slip through their dubious QA, but they'll always honor the return if the product you got doesn't meet listed specifications.
A tier - proper brands like Iniu, Anker and Ugreen. High quality, great capacity, small size, low price. Just sometimes a few issues
S tier - the real brands, but oftentimes their products take longer to RnD and they're a little conservative, so you don't get the latest tech like with the A tier brands

        • Yeah, the ones with a Wattage photoshopped on the side are F tier every day

        • I've overall had more luck with Zyron than Anker and UGreen as far as reliability over time, but overall agree with this breakdown.

        • Thank you for education instead of posting mean one liners. Much appreciated!

        • what are these S tier real brands?

          • @bheart: Belkin, Normcore etc.

Basically, the brands that big box retail stores would stock, because they don't want to deal with return hassle associated with the A-tier brands.

            • @Papa Huggies: Not to mention the A-tier brands listed above actually do not carry the prerequisite RCM in order to be sold by retailers in Australia.

        • My experience with Zyron chargers has varied with the model but support has always been top notch.

156W deskpod has been smashed for years, best charger I've owned.

Middling longevity from an older 65W model, but even when I had a replacement arrive DOA there was still no fuss whatsoever.

Where do the letters representing the different tiers come from?

        • A tier - proper brands like Iniu, Anker and Ugreen. High quality, great capacity, small size, low price. Just sometimes a few issues

          What kind of issues?

          • @ElSyd: I've had Anker and Ugreen chargers suddenly die, but i've had the same with a Zyron, seems luck of the draw. Only brand i've never had a failure on is the 65w ZMI's I picked up 5 or so years ago that have never skipped a beat.
