Lifetime access to the AI you use every day
Instead of paying individually for different AI tools, 1min.AI puts them all under one roof. That includes

OpenAI models like GPT-4o, GPT-4 Turbo, and GPT-3.5
Claude models from Anthropic
Gemini Pro from Google
Llama 2 and 3 from Meta
Mistral and Cohere’s Command model

You can use these for writing, editing, summarizing, image generation, voice-to-text, light video editing, grammar checks, and more. Everything runs in your browser, so there’s nothing to install, and you can get started right away.

Like many AI platforms, 1min.AI runs on a credit system, but it’s more generous than most. You get 4 million credits each month, plus daily login bonuses that add up to 450,000 extra credits every month. If you don’t use your credits, they roll over.

  • Is it any good
    ?

  • It's not the latest versions of the AI platforms, however no doubt they'll get the upgrades at some point.

Lifetime is not sustainable for something as resource costly as AI inference.

Low-key scared this gonna be shutdown

    • They've got posts on Reddit from a year ago that talks about their lifetime subs.

  • +5

LOL @ old models but the main thing is a "lifetime" subscription to a continuously massively expensive process

  • +7

"Lifetime" = the product's lifetime. Not yours.

    • True, I took this gamble with HyperHost (lasted a few years, so I got my money's worth), I think if you are not expecting lifetime they can be good value.
The only Lifetime promo I have subscribed to that still works is "Malwarebytes", that was an Ozbargain deal and my Lifetime license still works great after 25 years…
All my other Lifetime deals, died, through closures, acquisitions, re-branding or obsolesce

Looks like its ok for very light use, but not recommended for anything beyong light casual tasks.

just played with the image creation. On high quality, fast image generation, it takes 120,000 per ONE prompt. With 4 million credits, it'll only give you 33 such images per month. You'll run out of credits really quickly if you want quick, high quality images, so for me who sometimes makes 30 prompt runs in one day, it's not suitable.

I think their business model is to make it more expensive over time and make you use up the credits faster, meaning you can do less over time on the supposedly 'lifetime' membership.

Their marketing claims you can generate 1186 images a month but I think that's probably on the lower end crappier older models.

Your prompts will probably be also logged and recorded with them as well and you have no idea if the company is privacy respecting or selling your data.

  • That is $5,999.40 per hour…

    How is that a bargain?

  • +5

they've been hocking this and other plans on StackSocial for over a year. It's been the same price, so not a bargain.

If you use RETAIL30 it comes down to $70 still not really a bargain. The PayPal Perplexity 12mth free is a better use of.your time as it's actually quite helpful & provides sources with it's answers.

  • Got this a year or so back with stack social. Pretty good to import doc and extract data. Picture and video part is hit or a miss. The points add pretty quickly. If logging in you get 15 000 and I get 2 000 000/month addon. Accumulated. Can create user and point limit on users. Currently got 21 000 000. Good for simple tasks. Worth it? Depends on your needs. Light user to generate emails extract data and so on possible. Don't think I paid this much. So many options out there.

    • Careful I linked to "Stack Social" and mods removed as spam\affiliate.

      • The system removed it automatically because it had an affiliate link on the second link, as it stated. I tidied it up and republished it. Next time just ask us https://www.ozbargain.com.au/contact or report it.

    Lifetime ❌
    ‘Till we shutdown ✅

Perplexity would seem to be a more functional and sustainable option if you want access to use various consumer AI models - the latest ones.
Not free (for Pro), but currently there are ways to get a year for free (Optus voucher, PayPal link-account).

No deal, this is often much lower, even now it can be found for $39 USD on multiple deal sites.

    https://store.fatkiddeals.com/sales/1minai-pro-plan-lifetime…

    https://www.stacksocial.com/sales/1minai-pro-plan-lifetime-s…

My only concern is you appear to be paying for older models, mixed reviews.

    • that's a different subscription. The ops is the Advanced Business Plan the $39 one you pointed to is the pro plan

So it's the same price $us99 on all sites (since they have the same parent company). But as I.mentioned above, there's a code for.stacksocial which makes it $us70.

      • Yes you are correct I got confused because the advanced business now has the essentially the same quota as the original pro. It’s like they have all been nurfed. Not the pro quota is very small
