    Bought 3, thanks

      3 only?

      Look at this frugal spender

  • onlyFans camera check

jokes aside, I see less and less reasons to part with my EOS R and RF 24-105 F4L

    • EOS R is great, I miss mine. I couldn't buy it back for the price I sold it at.

    • Consider the RF 24-105mm f/2.8L, I consider it as good value with how versatile it is :)

      • I'll keep 24-105 F4L because it's much lighter compact and balanced on my R with battery grip

can't see any limitations (that I can't work around) in F4L to move to a different lens of the same FOV range.

I'd rather add an RF 14-35 F4L for wide angle fun

but for 99.9% cases 24-105 F4L is just all I need, especially if I can control the light and I usually can

        • Fair enough, the f/4L is tiny and compact. But I'm very used to shooting with the DSLR 70-200mm f/2.8s of ye olden days so transitioning over the RF 24-105mm f/2.8L felt normal to me. Plus, it basically allows me to solo professional shoots with a single lens, body and flash set up, it's actually become very economical and effective as an all-in-one solution. It's the one lens I always can recommend to any RF shooters, if they ever need a serious lens to do 99.99% of shots out there.

          • @prosnapdeluxe: thank you I'll rent one to test it out. mostly shoot F/8 so don't really need wide aperture in my studio zoom, and when I do I grab a 1.4 prime instead (50mm)

            • @shabaka: That faster aperture can make a difference in more challenging lightning conditions, and I doubt you'll be disappointed with the quality of the shots and the actual physical lens itself. Only negatives imho are obviously the price and size and weight, but again I think it's totally worth and justified. If you're not too deep into Canon, I could suggest getting a Sony e-mount body and that cheaper, but still quality Sigma 28-105mm f/2.8 lens. Can't go as wide, nor built or featured as well as the Canon, but usually half the price.

100mp with fixed lens? Holy Batman, anyone actually contemplating buying one, if so what would be your use case, out of curiosity.

    • yeah I would like to know too

It's medium format. This is a cheap stand-in for a Hasselblad and so on. This ain't for the amateurs… just the auteurs.

If I had money I'd be looking at this instead of Leica, if I had endless money I'd step up to Leica, and if I were a pro I'd get a Hasselblad.

    • I play with these every so often, you can get away with much more than you think. How far you are able to crop with these is insane.

    • Tax write off?

I use one at work. The use case for us is we need the resolution for billboards and other large prints. We used a hasselblad digital medium format previously and that with lens was more than twice the price of the 100RF. Also, with the other cameras, we mostly used a normal perspective and we didn't really switch out lenses that much.

  • If I had money coming out of my ears I would have one of these. Not a logical purchase, but a dream purchase for sure.

Don't forget to join the email list.. You can save another $10….!! :)

    • The real bargain hidden in the comments, as always

  • If it's ATL and that cheap I'll order 5 at once to save on shipping. Thanks!

  • This takes instax right?

  • Not that I have the money for it, but fixed f/4 lens with no IS on a body with no IBIS? How about hand held in low light scenes which I assume is not uncommon in street photography which I assume is a common use case for this camera?
