The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) GWM Cannon Alpha Hi4-T ute range has had prices slashed again for September, with the entry-level Cannon Alpha PHEV Lux now priced from $53,490 drive away, a saving of $4000 on previous pricing and $10k less than when the ute launched in February this year.
Price drops aren’t limited to the Lux, with the range-topping Cannon Alpha PHEV Ultra now priced from $60,490 drive away, also a $4000 saving.
These are the fourth price changes of the size-up plug-in hybrid ute, which launched at $63,990 drive away for the Lux in February, dropped to $59,990 plus on-roads in April (approx. $63k drive away), reduced to $60,490 drive away in June and again to $57,490 drive away in July.
This latest price drop, makes the Cannon Alpha PHEV significantly more affordable than the two other plug-in hybrid utes – the $57,900 before on-roads BYD Shark 6 and $71,990 before on-roads Ford Ranger XLT Hybrid.
