I have been using XM2we, cheaper and older version, only 1K polling rate and with 3370 sensor. The quality has been fantastic for build, click quality (all clicks, including scroll wheel and side buttons), and the claw shape feels good in my hand as well (18x10, usually aggressive claw shape).

Wandered around the mice market today and found this deal. I believe it was reviewed as one of the best mouse in terms of latency, build quality, click quality, and sensor implementation. Might not be the lightest of all the mice out there today, but it's worth the quality you're getting. I think I'll pick this up later on.

This or Logitech mx master 4

    • On a side note, has the MX Master 4 been released yet?

completely different mice. one is lightweight, fast and the layout is simple, ideal for competitive gaming. the other has a bunch of buttons, slower and is very heavy comparatively, more ideal for productivity power users. it's up to your own preferences

If gaming then this by a long shot

Not even comparable, mx master is probably your best non-vertical office mouse (but why not get a vertica…). This is a gaming mouse. The long term ergonomics on the mx master will be much better but I'd gather game on a $20 budget gaming mouse than the mx master.

My laptop aren't good enough for 4K and above, and for convenience sake, I'll go with this one for $40 extra.

    A very expensive rodent.

    • To pre-empt comments, all good.
