I bought something from Myer and got free postage because it was over $100.
When I return it, do they refund the full $100, or do they deduct the $10 “free” postage allowance?

What do the T&C say?

If you take them to store for refund, they will refund in full. (Not sure about posting them back)

Say it delivered from a different store to fufil the order can you return to a different myer store closer to home

Yes, I think ANY Myer store.

Thanks thats handy to know.

What did you agree to when you agreed to the purchase?

Free postage means free postage. When you return you get the money you paid.

The return postage costs you money - you pay that return postage fee when you start the return process. They refund you the full $100. The return postage cost has nothing to do with them.

Thanks for the info.
I am returning because it went on sale the day after I bought it!I am going to return in store. And buy it again, cheaper!

Unless they mention as it's free return. You will need to pay the return postage.

Others have said you pay the return postage but they don’t deduct the original postage from the refund.

FYI
They refunded the full amount.

If it's change of mind I doubt it
