Crysis 3 Multiplayer Open Beta Free from Jan 29th until Feb 12th

Moved to Forum: Original Link

"The Crysis 3 Multiplayer Open Beta will be released on Jan 29th, available to everyone on the PC, XBOX360 and PS3 platforms!"

Only two maps and two games modes. Hopefully, the servers won't be too bad for us. Local servers would be even better.

Here's how to get the beta code from German facebook page. I grabbed one just in case they need it, even though it's supposed to be open beta.

Lol. Somewhat accurately describes the first installment of the game.

Too bad the game sucks gameplay wise though, it's more of a tech demo than anything else.

    • tech demo of what the game looks like shit

      • I agree. The graphics isn't that impressive, and I'm getting constant crashes (even though I just updated my driver). My 660 non-ti is already able to max it out at 2560X1600 w/ TXAAX4 with a high frame rate. If the retail version is like this, all the buyers are gonna get seriously pissed. It's disappointing that I haven't been able to play one single match, because it always stops responding after the server loading screen, or not long after that.

        • this is it and i beleive the game is in its final form what you see now is what you will get they will test their servers and tweak gameplay now the graphics are mostly done

          the game looks horrible
          http://imgur.com/a/WzfqY

i run it on 3570k oc 6870 oc and micro ssd

      • that means i can run it on my Intel HD 4000 ?

        • I "repaired" the game. And now it only crashed once, and graphics seems to be better. I suspect the settings weren't set at very high before regardless of what I set them to, because I now only get 35+fps at 1680X1050 w/ TXAAX2 on very high as supposed to 60+fps. I don't know what happened.

My current fps makes more sense. 690 gets about 70fps maxed out and 660 performs around half of 690 according to benchmarks. http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-geforce-313…

I don't think you'll get more than a few fps from your onboard gfx card. Cards such as 7750 and 650 will be able to run on low settings at 1080p; anything below that will lower the resolution and/or frame rate.

  • Hopefully it's just the beta, but the game looks and runs worse than Crysis 2. Considering the game is out in 20 days I can't see it changing much.

  • for anyone that cant find it on xbox menu: goto Games then Browse Games, in the Coming Soon section, download the demo and your in.

  • Can anyone explain why the alpha was posted as a deal, but this had to move to the forum? Is it because this is not exclusive to only a few people?
