  • It's so expensive to begin with because it has a 4g modem. But if you need that, you should spend a bit more and get a 5g modem.

    • I'm looking for a wifi-7 router for myself personally, just saw this was on sale on the Scorptec site and thought I'd link here in case anyone was after a similar product.

    • What's the best deal that you have seen on 5G router deal, please?

  • where is the refurb link? thanks

  • +1

  • I bought a second hand TP-Link 4G router for $33 on feeBay. I found the 4G download speed inferior to mobile phones, but the upload speed is slightly better (but for mobile phones, both download and upload are counted towards data usage).

Also, bear in mind that unless you have a postpaid mobile plan, most providers cap prepaid mobile download at 150Mbps.

  • 4G is too slow if you want to use it for internet.
