I have that one at work - best wireless headset I've ever used. Didn't know it was HP though. Turns out HP acquired Poly (formerly Plantronics) in 2022 for $1.7 billion. Good deal for HP 💰
Batteries may have degraded over time left in stock. I cannot think of any other reason for this pricing.
Comparing to the wired Blackwire series that I like for its voice quality, this one is a bit heavier with battery and wireless part, it may have more latency compared to wired ones.
