Of course, 2 days after my washer delivered

Ha. I ordered a dishwasher this morning. Handing in my OzB membership now.

      • If it’s not delivered just ask to cancel. I ordered one last Friday to deliver on Tuesday for over $100 more than the current price (which I thought was an ok deal), and then saw this today.

I cancelled it no problem and placed a new order.

Avoid. I bought a Beko dishwasher. I wouldn't buy another one.

They have poorly designed filter that lets objects fall in, mine was a piece that fell off the bamboo chopping block, then the after sales service wants you to pay for replacing the entire impeller, when the filter should do its job in the first place!

The extended warranty is pointless when it's a design fault.

    • Which model was this?

        BDF1410W

Oh and I will add that I always prewash my dishes, so it's definitely not abused. The customer support was not very interested in hearing about my complaint that it's an obviously a design fault if the filter allows for object the size of a 10 cents piece to fall in… It's a second income stream for their service agents to make call outs and buy parts from them.

No issues with Appliances Online, just don't buy a Beko. Had a Westinghouse prior, can recommend.

        • Cool… good to know, this one is a different model and the reviews are okay, will try my luck, fingers crossed

Anyone know what’s the best dishwasher under $700?

If I had the money I’d buy a Miele or Bosch Series 6. But we’re a bit short on cash and our old Smeg that came with the house just died.

    • The Aldi one. I have one that's 6 years old that's worked flawlessly. Compared to the 2 year old Beko, which I have already had to spend extra $150.

    • Curious about this too

    • Just moved home. I miss the Bosch.

    • And one with spare parts would be good.

    • Bosch Series 2 is also on discount with them right now, with the $70 off it would just be around $600. Not sure how good it is? I assume it would be decent.

  • Got this last week ($458 from Appliance online scratch and dent site: home clearance). Had very minor dints to side panels (barely noticeable and hidden in any event).

Anyway been very happy with it - cleans well so far (3 washes on the 2 hour eco mode I've done so far). Shelves and rollers etc feel premium. Pretty quiet. Only negative there is no count down display telling you how long to go.
