For some reason, Out of all the stores in australia, Officeworks is selling the Switch 2 Camera for 54 bucks. It is worth it since it's like 70 bucks for it normally. I'm just confused why Officeworks tho. oh, it also has 1 Year Warranty which is also incredible.

You can use other webcams like logitech with regular usb a to connect to the dock. I've tried with c920 and game chat still tracks the face.
That said, this comes with privacy shutter and $54 seems pretty good if you don't have an existing webcam and want to use the video gamechat

Typical useless little garbage caused by cultural differences… In Japan, people seem to like to use cameras to play games together, both online and offline, but I don't know of any other country where people would do this except Japan
I use it.
I love couch coop/multiplayer but as I age, it becomes more difficult to organise.
No audio chat will capture the moment you win/lose/funny moments where you still talk about it years after than being in the same room, but this still captures that magical moment. A nice middle ground to have those laughing on the floor for 10 minutes straight.
