It is a standalone game with disc so I'd say so?
I used to have the same thinking until I got my ps5 recently. I got all disc for Cod MW and the disc only contains the license to download the game. This means having the CD no longer guarantee you can play the game, one power trip from activision and they can revoke the game from users. I'm only interested in the offline campaign and thought the CD would be enough until it started showing errors pointing me to download the game.
Although not sure if this is true on all games.

This is an online co op round based spin off.
I've spent ~250ish hours in this game. Excellent game and the pacing is a lot faster compared to other souls games. However, it is multiplayer only and has a bit of a learning curve for those new to the series but very rewarding. Its been receiving regular updates since launch (new content + bug fixes), and recently had the night of the deep update rolled out for those who need an ever bigger challenge. Yes, I'm a fanboy but highly recommend the game especially at this price.
