for pc all I see is xbox gift card and gamepass ultimate/pc gamepass, everything else is dunce mostly for console.

    • This is typical for retail stores right?

You can technically get things for pc indirectly assuming you own a console for the platforms gift card you purchase.

For example, if you have an xbox one and pc, and you want to get vbucks for fortnite. You can buy vbucks through fortnite on xbox one with the gift card, and then those vbucks will be available on pc through cross platform play.

This is just one example. I think most multiplayer games are like this but not all. For example Marvel Rivals does not have cross platform progression with shared currency.

      • Accidental neg?

        • Yeah it was. Anyway my comment is still valid despite the negs.

          • @OzBMate629: I dunno why you got negs good tip. Also with Xbox play anywhere there are games on PC and xbox.

    • does it work on steam? :D

      • nup nothing steam related here im 99% sure, really unfortunate

  • I’ve purchased a card

It’s in my order list. But I’ve got no confirmation email, nor can I view the order
Is this normal for Amazon gift card purchases?

    • I think so, they can sometimes take a while (a few hours? It has been a long time since my last GC purchase from Amazon).

      • Thanks for responding. Actually it was flagged as fraud by Amazon due to using a new device. They cancelled the order and forced me to reset my password, so I had to re-buy and now I’ve redeemed

        • Weird - I had the same issue. Not sure why they suddenly think this is a fraudulent transaction but were happy with the rest…

          • @DingoBilly: Worse than that for me, because of this they flagged all my pre-orders as fraudulent too, and also flagged a lot of my existing orders are fraudulent. I basically I have everything in my account since the end of July now missing from my orders. I've contacted them and they tell me their specialist team will help me out in the next 48 hours. Very annoying though.

When I got to the items I've pre-ordered though, it still shows me as having an active order with those items - I just can't view it on my account. So let's see whether or not this actually gets sorted. Right now, noooooot happy.

            • @Lockdude: Bizarre isn't it… I've bought plenty of gift cards before from Amazon, as well as normal items.

Seems like some sort of new internal crackdown they have on gift cards that's not been fully tested or something.

              • @DingoBilly: Same, this is basically the first and only issue I've had with my Amazon account since it launched in Australia. Classic modern tech industry!

  • Decent for the PlayStation Store. I think it was Black Friday last year they briefly had 15% off, which went fast, and nothing I recall since. So I'll take 10% off $100.

    • It was back in July they had 15% off for Xbox cards. I'm in no dire need so thinking of holding out for now.

    Wish there was steam

  • FYI, but I spoke with Amazon Support about the Playstation cards as I kept getting rejections, even on other people's accounts with their payment info. Amazon support advice was:

"There seems to be a technical issue in the purchase process.

While purchasing the gift card, log out and make sure to clear the cookie and cache of the website.

Then log back in and try making the purchase directly on Amazon.

We've noted it down for a future fix."
