        This is only for Borderlands 4. You must have a connected SHiFT account to the platform you play it on to be able to redeem the rewards.

        I didn't need a copy of BL4 on my account to be able to redeem this key, but a key for skeleton keys earlier in the week required me to have it. I'm still waiting to buy BL4 for Steam until it's been optimised better and/or comes down in price

      If a free jpg that you can't otherwise buy (even if you wanted) gets to stay, I can't see a code that gets you usable in game items being relegated to the forums.

        The issue isn't that it's posted once, the issue is Shift codes appearing over and over for years and serves the purpose of advertising. I wouldn't be surprised if there's close to 100 posts on this site for them.

      bought it yesterday, and played a little bit of it. I'm liking it.
      if you've played the last one, it's mostly the same. the guns feel better, and movement is improved with having a jet pack.

      The big issue is performance. you need a very powerful PC to play this. my 3090 and 12900ks is barely able to run it at 90 fps on low settings (DLS on performance) at 1440p. Completely unacceptable for a $110 game, which looks this old.
      It doesn't help that it is a first person shooter so you really notice the frame drops and hitching (which has been improved in the latest update, so they are working on it).
      Also on a weird note it fries your CPU when loading new area's, both me and my mate saw really high temps. Mine hit 100c, which was a little concerning.

      In saying that if you're on console, apparently it runs far better and you shouldn't have any issues.

        That's just your cooling setup, which may be insufficient. The game doesn't heat the CPU any more than any 100% workload would.

        My 7800X3D and 4080 are running the game 100-150fps with everything set to low and DLSS performance 1440p. Although even with everything turned low / off, the game still looks about as good as BL3 with all settings turned to max haha

          I've heard that it runs really well on 40series chips, and the 7800x3d is considerably stronger than mine. I do hope to get a few more years out of the 3090.

          regarding cooling, you are correct a game not ask of the cpu more than 100%, and my set up failed. Although I do have a custom loop, it's just in bad need of a service and fan curves altered. I only noted it in my comment as the temps were particularly bad compared to other games.

      it runs like shit and you kinda have to use frame gen to get anything out of it, and even then it still spikes and just feels shit. gameplay and game itself is a ton of fun. i've always been critical of borderlands in a "this can be so much better than it is, gearbox is shit and also make a borderlands mmo" but this feels like the best of the series so far

      Cant speak for other platforms, but runs fine on Xbox series X 'performance mode'. I'm about half way through the game and have been playing solo and online with a friend. Haven't had any noticeable frame rate issues or lag, had a couple of bugs to do with inventory management, but the game runs fine.
