  • Hit and miss with these sheets and all of them.

Sometimes two are needed, and still the wash does not get suds in the water.

    Am I doing it wrong?

    • You can either throw the sheet in with the dishes or fold it into the dishwasher tablet compartment. I find that throwing it directly at the dishes work better. Sometimes I do both.

        My dishes have sensitive skin

I don't do dishes in the washing machine anymore. Learned my lesson.

With the dishwasher sheets, it's best to pop them in the dishwasher tablet compartment if your machine does a pre-rinse cycle… we have the most ridiculous dishwasher that takes 2hrs and 45min to do a cycle, and I was trying to work out how anything can be dirty after a almost 3-hour clean, but I was throwing the sheet in with the dishes and found that the pre-rinse used up all the detergent, and then I was washing the dishes with nothing. (or do your trick where you do both)

You're not doing anything wrong. Sheets are low-sudsing, so they work in all machines, including the high-efficiency washing machines.

Traditional detergents often add foaming agents purely for show, so you might not see big suds… which is ok because suds don’t equal clean; it’s a bit of a detergent myth

If you tear a bit of a sheet off and wash your hands with it, you will be able to feel all the soap, and it will suds up, just not as much.

  • How do these compare to Lucent Globe? All the reviews for Lucent Globe seem so good, as well as their Facebook comments.

I wonder how they get so many positive reviews? 10/10 for marketing

They work the same way, but the formula is different. Sheet Yeah is specifically designed to be safe for anyone with sensitive skin or eczema, there are no synthetic fragrances used, only essential oils. Removing the synthetic fragrances makes it much safer for pets, so it's great for washing pet beds/blankets too.

Sheet Yeah also don't contain enzymes, so they are one of the only sheet brands that are safe to use on natural fiber fabrics like wool or silk.
