  • How do these rate as a headlamp?

It's a nice light, but considering you can get the Sofirn H35R for the same (sale) price as just this torch alone I'd get that over this if headtorch is the main purpose. The 18350 doesn't last that long, and then you've got the extra cost of the headstrap and extension tube if you want the longer run time.

I have both and the H35R has become my goto headtorch. 113g with strap, bright, nice colour temp and good beam (kinda spotty but with plenty of spill), plus red light (brighter than you'll ever need)

      • Thanks heaps for the info

  • $40.20 with a headstrap

@clear i ordered the other one from ali, you reckon this is better, i dont need 2

    • I'd say if you're less concerned with the colours from the Wurkkos and want something brighter then the Wuben is probably better.

        yolo ordered both

That's the right answer. I have 2 of the Wurkkos already.

          • @Clear: i got the light and headband and omg the light is so cute

Awesome unit, my go-to for all activities needing a headlamp (night walks, electronics repair, late-night garage searching). I bring a wurkkos hd15 camping but prefer the E7 mini for daily use.

I chuck a usb rechargeable red light from AliX on the back when out and about, really happy with the setup and the adjustable tilt angle. Can be useful for moving light out of people's/car's eyeballs!

Not sure if I’m browsing ozbargain, or preparing to start my own lighthouse….

The first step of addiction is admitting the addiction. I'm up to step 4….

  • Is this the cheapest? Sound nice but need to spend more on acc like strap and the batt ext. I need those as I already have the bigger batt 18650

I purchased a Wuben G2 a while back to use as a general light when camping after a couple of my old Nitecore Tubes died…

If the temperature is slightly cold the Wuben constantly turns off, I'm not talking freezing temps or anything, probably 10C or lower, I assume they use fairly low quality cells… I've pretty much given up on it now, I wouldn't buy another Wuben…
