30% off $120 Spend on Complete Glasses Pairs, 35% off $150 Spend, 40% off $180 Spend + Delivery @ eyebuydirect

One of the best deals I’ve seen for EyeBuyDirect so far as normally discounts are lower and only applicable to frames or lenses. Was able to order two decent pairs (one being polarised sunnies), both prescription and upgraded lenses for $204 delivered. The discount being applicable to lenses makes a lot of the upgraded lenses worthwhile. I’ve been ordering from them for years and think it’s a great service and incredibly affordable (especially for those without private health insurance).

Orders with a value higher than $120 will be discounted by 30%.
Orders with a value higher than $150 will be discounted by 35%.
Orders with a value higher than $180 will be discounted by 40%.
Offer cannot be redeemed for cash and is not valid on previous purchases.
Offer cannot be combined with any other coupons or discounts.
Maximum six frames per order.
Offer subject to adjustment due to modifications, returns, cancellations, and exchanges.
Offer does not include tax and shipping.
Offer cannot be used on Ray-Ban, Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley, ARNETTE, Coach, Armani Exchange, Ralph, or Vogue Eyewear frames.

Don’t forget to follow the prompts after ordering to donate a pair of glasses to your selected country/geographical region of choice. It’s free to do but they won’t donate if you don’t opt in.

14 day free returns - I returned a pair that looked ugly on my head and they refunded it and didn’t need me to return them.

  • This seems like a better deal than their BOFOG +20% off on black Friday?

  • I'm keen to hear from OzBargainers what online stores they are getting cheap prescription glasses from. So far I've used Dresden & Firmoo successfully but am always keen to know more. Specsavers is dead to me.

    • +1

Very happy with Zenni for multifocals, might try this one also

    • I swore to never buy from Specsavers more than a decade ago. During that time I bought at least 10 pairs from eyebuydirect and recently was buying from Clearly. Had to return to Specsavers as regardless of what I buy online, those glasses never fit right on my face. Unless I try out a frame and test it out in the mirror I will not be buying blind anymore. It is definitely worth it to look decent by paying a little extra.

      • On the contrary, my online glasses have fit far better than what I've gotten from SS. My last single pair of multifocals from there set me back almost $500, and after just over 2 years the anti reflective coating had become so cloudy the glasses were useless. They refused to assist as it was just outside the 2yr warranty. Since then I've gotten far better glasses with far better lenses for a fraction of the cost online. YMMV, but Specsavers can take a long walk off a short pier.

Used to buy glasses without a nose bridge online. They all sit way too low on my face. When buying similar styles I can go try them at SS and see where they sit before I buy. Sorry but I don't get how buying blind would help with this? In the store I can see where/how it sits.

  • For those looking to claim on private health insurance, I'm pretty sure these guys aren't an approved provider (I think it's because they don't have a physical presence in Australia) so you may not be able to make a claim for glasses from them.
