  This is actually shockingly good for what it is. The picture quailty is garbage, but kids don't care.

    How is a video camera shockingly good if the video quality is garbage? Why not just use a phone?

      Because all of the extra crap and effects is what the kids actually care about. It can do in camera green screen stuff which was great for my younger kids when i got it for them. They could muck around with video and photos without staring at a phone.
