Depends on the speed, where it's placed on and your noise tolerance but I found it to be okay. It's white noise anyway. Mine was making weird screeching sound after 3 weeks and I returned it. It's really good at moving air though.
For noise control, I'd recommend a DC model (Vornado or otherwise) as you have much wider speed control and can set the ideal noise/airflow balance. There's nothing special about the Vornados more generally in that regard - I have a 533DC and 633DC and subjectively I'd say they're a bit louder than typical 40cm pedestal fans for a given airflow, but unlike a 3-speed pedestal, the DC Vornados can be dialled down to a whisper quiet speed.
another vote for the DC model, its much more adjustable and i had it on practically 24/7 in summer. i had a kogan dc pedestal fan for the baby though (think that was round or under 150)
just make sure you get a DC fan as those are the ones with a adjustable knob dial (like dimmable lights) instead of the typical 3 speed.
Yes this is quite loud, but in a white noise way. Maybe get the table top Woozoo, its small but pretty good
Absolutely love these units, but most people seem to use them wrong. You're meant to point them towards a top corner of a room to allow the air to bounce off and circulate around the room.
They are quite noisy as push a LOT of air, but setting 1 and 2 are fine for sleeping.
This is exactly how I use it and it’s excellent at moving around the warm air in the room
Prefer the quietness, granular adjustments and lower power consumption of the DC but only comes in medium (633) and I need the large so went with the 660 AC
Finally took a plunge for a Vornado specifically for my cavoodle pup to get her nice and cool (I hope) for the coming scorching summer. 👍🐕

I bought one. they are good, but not that good. Do I regret buying it, no. if time travel existed, would I go back and tell myself not to buy it, yes.
Agreed, had to that the bearings wore out quickly, making a scraping noise. Also the biggest dust magnet being at floor level and having a tight grill.
