useless app with insecure website. No thanks

    • Probably all "vibe coded" haha. To being fair, even AI would know you can't launch a http website…

Anyway props to op for having a go at something…but you need a lot more polish before going public! Drop gmail, go https…and fix any other low hanging fruit!

Also if this genuinely was written by AI, ask someone that knows something about backends and db design in particular. If you're handling payment info you need to make sure you don't expose PII and payment details, AI design/security is fairly mediocre.

      • Vibe coded with a design clearly made for mobile with no thought for desktops.

      • Thanks for the feedback. We do not collect any PII information or any user information including any pictures that are submitted. Subscriptions are handled by the Google Play Store.

Thanks again for trying it out.

Aside from that, you just know that people are gonna attempt to use this like it's official, "It's a 10 no lowballs I know what i've got!" when it's definitely not. Alternatively, PSA etc has been known to be entirely subjective and also easily bought, so grades could vary wildly from this.

      • Yes, I agree that PSA is very subjective. The point of the app is mostly to give the user some extra information to decide if they want to risk the $50+ per card grading fee if its most likely going to turn out a 9 due to centering.

Obviously not for seasoned collectors who can tell by looking at the card but more for people starting to get into the hobby.

The subscription fee is mainly to cover the GPT-5 API costs which aren't cheap.

        • Honestly I'm not sure how anyone builds on top of AI APIs. I'd consider going BYOK or cost-per-usage.

If someone goes and 'grades' their entire collection that'll be expensive haha

What a completely useless app. Do not pay for this.

does it have a money back guarantee if I don't get a 10?

Card grading and AI together, how wonderful!

I wonder if you could squeeze blockchain in there somewhere as well
