which ones are DC or what do people recommend?

Looks like they've made that hard to figure out now…
I bought a 633DC a while ago but it was specifically a DC model. I would recommend that.
Can't make any sense of DC vs AC in their current/this line up.

This one that doesn't seem to be on sale

DC are somewhat quieter and work with a smart power outlet

      • Wait why wouldn't ac with with a smart power outlet? Mine does.

        • Most of the AC models have momentary buttons; DC have a rotary switch. Which model is yours?

          • @sumyungguy: Ah! I misunderstood your message. I thought you meant something about AC specifically wouldn't work. I don't have a Vornado, just a standard AC fan. My bad, that makes sense

We got a DC one for the bedroom for that reason. We can turn it on and off remotely using a smart power point plug adapter.

They also tend to be continuously variable rather than set point buttons.

Seems DC version more better and pricey

  • Does the 660 have a timer ?

  • No delivery for northern nsw… grrr…
