  • Badass deal, cheers! My M18 can retire into being the garage vac

  • Nice, also grabbed a holesaw kit!

  • Must resist…

  • Need battery

  • Does anyone have one of these? If so, is it any good? 12v stuff is a bit hit or miss.

  • I wasnt going to but thought i could probably sell my old one for $70 or $60. $30 or $40 upgrade

Nice price, just wish it was the M18 version…

Cordless vacs chew through batteries, if you're not in that system already once you budget for some decent sized m12 batteries the value may not be there. I got the Bosch with 18v 5AH kit from a deal on here a while ago at under $200 from memory and it works great but I wouldn't want any less power or runtime. But if you're already running M12 gear then its a great deal.

    • I've got a couple of M12 2Ah (or was it 2.5) from heated jacket deals but yeah my Workzone 18V wet/dry vac already chews through 4Ah batteries pretty quick, dunno how much value would get running it on small M12 batts. 6Ah for 14 min doesn't bode well lol.

This price for the brand still makes it tempting though lol.

Got one, thanks. We'll see how much it sucks (or doesn't).

  • Thanks I've been eyeing one of these off and even though it's not M18 I can't let this price pass for M12.

Anyone know if it's Packout compatible?

    • Nah only latest m18 vac is packout

      • Bugger. Maybe I can print some kind of base..

Fair warning: this thing absolutely chews through batteries. If you don't have a couple of 6ah or 5ah high output batteries this should be a hard pass. Performance is totally fine for $99 but this is NOT suitable for serious trade use. It's an incidental use "oh I need to drill a couple of holes in the wall to hang new curtain rails and I don't want to fill my stick vac with brick and plaster dust" vac; one you might only need to run for 5 minutes before the job is done. If you need to do more serious drilling or cutting work, you're wasting $99.

    Any good for cleaning gutters?

Agree with other comments here, have both the m12 and m18 vac, they both absolutely eat through batteries, the only difference being you're more likely to have higher capacity m18 batteries. If you don't have multiple 5 or 6 amp m12s, you're not going to get much use out of it.
