Edifier GX05 TWS Gaming Hearbuds (Space Grey) 2 for $99 + Del ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Centre Com

Got a pair of the pair. Great pair, if you're looking at pairing with multiple devices.

Tried the usb-c with my phone, PS5 and Desktop, and paired flawlessly each time.

Vocal clarity is high given it's meant for gaming, but bass can be lackluster if you're used to TWSs.

I bought a pair of these a while ago for my Meta Quest 3 as all my other TWS buds (Galaxy Buds, Airpods Pro) had enough lag to be annoying and disorienting. Ideally I was after a set of Soundcore VP P10s but they were nowhere to be found. These turned out to be pretty good for VR, however I found the battery life a bit low. Not such a bad thing for VR as the sessions don't tend to be too long, but something to keep in mind. I just copped another two pairs off this deal anyway, one as a backup and one for my young bloke. They're definitely worth more than $50 a pair!

Plus the case is a free fidget toy!

    • My thoughts exactly with the fidget spinner. Plus it resets the RGB sequence every time it spins.

I turned the light effects off for the buds themselves cause I'm not seeing it anyway.

  • All that RGB on the case is so wasteful. But for that price, who cares.

When I read 2.4GHz, I think that these things can connect to WiFi :D

    • Yup. I had the same reaction reading the description. Surely we're not regressing back to needing a dongle to make it work. Far too many work keyboards and mouse not usable due to this.

Dongle kills the lag that you (still) get even with BT 5.3. If you don't need zero audio lag it's fine but as above with my VR use case it's really noticeable with BT.

Didn't mean anything like that. Understand the need for it, as Bluetooth lag is real.

Just remembered the days when keyboards and mouse came with a 2.4GHz dongle instead of Bluetooth capable, which made it unusable when the dongle goes missing.

    • Normal Bluetooth is 2.4GHz too, as is your microwave. It is just because that is an easy part of the spectrum to use due to licensing.

  • Great price, I personally prefer the BA/DD setup on the Neobuds, but edifier usually strikes gold with most of their releases — can't go wrong no matter which model you go

  • Got one, the sound is great with dongle but very average with BT (and the dongle don't fit on my phone with a case). Also surprisingly hard to get out of the case, curved and slippery. But yay, cheap & RGB. Get it if you don't need it.
