We all know that sims cards expire due it being a physical product, but do esims expire since it is not physical? I plan to get a few cheap esim plans cause data is great for a month.

But why do they need to expire? They don't go 'bad'.
They also only expire it not activated….

Yes they do if not used before a certain date, same reason physical sim cards expire when not used. To clean up the cards in the system.

But the service you get, like data or call minutes is only allowed to be used over a set period of time
