    it's cheaper to VPN to India. I paid idr7500 (~$130) 6mths ago and I haven't VPNd to use it.

      You're not alone in this experience, I did something similar without the VPN savings.
      This may be coursera's profit model.

    That’s around AU$425 for the first year and $605 next year (if you don’t cancel).
