From what I understand, it’s just the standard Ubisoft formula with a Star Wars skin. So depends how tired you are of the formula and how much you like Star Wars
It's not really and it makes the game more awkward. The game is at odds with itself when it tries to do the open world stuff since the story focuses a lot on stealth. $29 is a bit high. I got it for $18 and would recommend at that price.
Definitely if you like open world, it's a really good game. I played it at launch, there were a few bugs, but it was still good fun. It's improved a lot since then as well.
Got it for around this price on Xbox. I can think of many improvements but overall, as someone who likes the Star Wars universe and wanted a chill game with some space action, I quite enjoyed it. In fact i bought the DLC for $15. IMO $30 for the base game was a steal for all the money I saved from not being social/spent in a pub.
Just to note I'm the kind of gamer that enjoyed Starfield, generally want a bit of a story and am not into too much grinding or crazy in-game bosses.
Lastly, most bugs in the Xbox version have been ironed out by now, so none of the issues i heard about affected me.
Just wait until it comes to subcriptions (Ps Plus/GamePass) eventually.
Got the Gold edition for $50 a while ago. I found it a frustrating game for the first 5-6 hours, largely due to the speeder getting stuck on a rock all the time and the first main city map was confusing to navigate, but it improves once you are more familiar with it and more importantly, you unlock a few skills. It’s not a great game, but it’s probably worth $30 if you like Star Wars.
The speeder stuck glitch got patched. It was annoying at the time though 🤣
Wouldn't buy at this price, it was on sale for $18 not long ago at Harvey Norman. Most likely will end up being a PS free game or on Gamepass soon enough.
$18*
Dragon Age The Veilguard is also $10 at Target for PS and Xbox
HODL
Man, sometimes it sucks being a digital only Xbox and switch 2 owner!
Not bad for physical media not bad I would bite, but for someone not a fan of modern Star Wars/disney how is the actual game?
You have to like Star Wars a bit to enjoy this game IMO, unless you have boundless time. That said, the story is not deep and does not affect your knowledge of the star wars universe (the only overlap is the planet Tatooine). I like easy going space / sci-fi shooters with a bit of story behind it, and this delivered. I even bought the expansion pack for $15, so the $30 for the main game was worth it.
Thanks for the input, I shall skip since the star wars universe isn’t my cup of tea and i don’t think I will follow on, I was only in for the graphics but looks can be deciving I guess.
Great game. I bought on release at full price and don't regret it.
How soon do they run out of ideas so they turn it into a platformer?
This for $29 or the Switch 2 version for $84…😂
I got switch day one for 59, and it also includes the 30$ season pass…so it kinda checks out with this price
Got this preowned @ $15 to give it a go.
Definitely not worth it even at that. Looks fancy but it’s recycling Ubisoft gameplay formulaWhy are PCs games never this cheap? Its digital too…
Go woke something something
Waiting for Star Wars In-laws
Defs worth it for this price
I had a great time playing it
Is it worth to get at this price ?
