Agree, signed up recently. No increase in sped after NBN bumped up speeds also drops out regularly.
Can you opt out of cgnat?
They have 2000/200 for $149
Despite the odds my recent switch to Southern Phone's FTTP has been a total no brainer!
Signed up for the 100 deal. Got the upgrade as well.
Unfortunately my offer was eero 6+ but they're giving away 7 now
How do people churn ISP's frequently and handle the need to update modem / router settings - doesn't this impact all your connected devices?
If it's DHCP, it should just be automatic. If not, you only need to change the settings on the router once. Technically it can take 48 hours, but it's normally pretty fast, within an hour.
Is that regardless of connection type (FTTN/FTTP)?
I highly doubt it that Southern phone is providing bad service, it's been flawless and upgrade was passed on as well. It feels so different with 500/50mbps.
AGL on the other hand is bad and is reeling.
I switched to Southern phone in June - 100/20 on $65/month plan. Speed got upgraded to 500/50 on the 15th of September. Free eero 6 modem, $32.5 cashback, and $100 bill credit got added in this month's bill.
No issues with the internet speed so far, and the switch was automatic as well.
Ooo free modem for the same duration, think Superloop changed from 18 months to 2 years for it
Can someone comment how it is for Perth connection?
This is AGL’s brand I think. I would advise to stay away from them. CGNAT by default. And their internet quality is horrible
