Searching for a new external hard drive and came across this on the Officeworks website which is cheaper than the 8TB version. In-store only though

It's still $37.90 per terabyte. Not really a great price for a NAS.
This one would be a better deal? https://www.amazon.com.au/Seagate-10TB-Expansion-Desktop-Dri…
There's also a 16TB version as well at a higher capacity to $ ratio.
Phub
This is a better deal if you need the storage 20TB for $579.00 with 3 years warranty.
But if you really need the storage possibly this is a better option as you get 28TB (3 years warranty) however the price has recently gone up due to currency exchange & possibly other reasons.

I do like Officeworks refund policy not sure if this has changed but I bought a 4TB 2.5" external & it died after 2 years & I got a full refund on cost & since hard disk prices dropped this allowed me to buy a new replacement 4TB 2.5" drive + have some spending cash ($50).
But for east-digital you would have pay postage cost if it does become faulty compared to driving to a local office works
If the officeworks external did fail after 2 years you would possibly get a free upgrade to a bigger drive but with hd prices going mostly up not sure.
shuckable?
