The last two times I have ordered Menulog they failed to get a delivery person. Unfortunately, unless you tip before hand drivers don't pick up the job. Was waiting 90 minutes only a week ago, called the restaurant and they said they had spoken to Menulog support and couldn't get a delivery driver. Cancelled the order and spoke to support and they could not care less. Just said we will pass on your feedback.
I refuse to tip. We're not America. If the Menulog model isn't sustainable for the workers it should be allowed to die. People should be valued for their labour & it shouldn't be by passing the cost of wages directly to customers. We don't need that US crap here.
Don't think many people know about this but Menulog has been trying to get into the sector where drivers can now deliver toys/electronics/ect… I found this out when I went and had something delivered from EB Games through their same day delivery service… It was called "Menulog Go"… Probably why food is now taking far longer to be delivered through Menulog because the drivers are out there doing these type of deliveries.
I can't even find any information about this "Menulog Go" service.
Menulog has consistently let me down with poor delivery and poor customer service.
They likely sunk tens of millions into the mass advertising campaigns and hiring singers to do marketing jingles and then demonstrate an appealing delivery experience and follow up service.
The mind boggles at the waste.
Uber are horrific as well, with service handled by bots and offshored people that don't help.
Completely agree… and it's getting harder and harder to find restaurants that deliver the food themselves even fast food places such as Dominos and Pizza Hut are now offshoring their delivery service to Menulog/Uber Eats/DoorDash drivers (At least in my area they have).
Out of all the restaurants in my area I only have 1 place that delivers themselves… and it's so sad and I'm praying they never EVER stop delivering themselves. At least that way if I knock into any issues I can contact this restaurant myself and not have to go through BS menulog.

Got the email offering me the promotion - go into account no such code or promo available - reach out to customer service explain situation & send them screenshot showing the email i received (making sure you can clearly see sender/receiver email date etc) and am told nothing they can see on my account & nothing they can or will do about it.
Their customer service is just as crap as their actual service having features/promos to stand out from competitors. Im really surprised that Deliveroo went bust here but menulog is still going
