    I played it for a bit, it wasn't too bad but not sure if I feel it's compelling enough for me to return. It looks great and there's a lot to do, but it's so repetitive.

      Was going to say the same thing. Visuals are great, and initially the atmosphere is great. I found the spells quite a novel concept, but after a while, it is the same mission types over and over again. In combat, you go for the same (most effective) spell combos every time. And there isn't a lot of diversity when it comes to enemy types, so you have the same type of fights over and over again. And to top it all off, the story is not particularly engaging. With that being said, for this price, it probably is worth a go.

  holy thats cheap. anyone rec this? not too good big on story based game but loved playing harry potter games when i was kid

    It's a pretty average game, but if you want to feel all nostalgic and live in the HP world for a bit it's worth a look. Exploring Hogwarts and its little secrets is nice. The story is crap and gameplay is repetitive and simple. The non Hogwarts areas are pretty bland.

    I'd recommend it to a kid or a die hard HP fan, anyone else can skip it.

    Stunning visuals, but terrible gameplay and plot. Wouldn’t recommend it at all.

    I am a diehard HP fan and managed about 20 hours before I gave up on it. If you’re also a diehard fan it’s probably worth trying for $15, but otherwise I’d say give it a miss.

    That's the issue with single player games that don't get many updates post release, which is why I never rush into these type of games upon release. It's never worth it.

  My pile of shame is growing. Amazon keeps giving me free Epic and GOG games. Here I am trying to finish Tears of the Kingdom while trying to play games I previously bought on Steam. And then there's the F2P games that I play daily.

  I need to F@#$ing retire so I can play my games. And spend time with the family I guess… but mostly to play my games.
