Kings Single Burner BBQ + Campfire BBQ Bag $128.95 + $25 Delivery ($0 C&C) @ 4WD Supa Centre

60

Been looking for a good price on one of these for a while. Solid little unit, ideal for firing up and cooking the evening steak or easily portable. RRP seems a little inflated, BUT the BBQ alone sells for $189.95.
Well aware it's not going to be the same quality as a Weber, but great value for the price, the better half has one set up out the back with a 9kg cylinder and it gets used almost daily without issue.
Delivery of $25 was to rural SA.
Happy Grilling :D

Read this as "King Single Burner BBQ" and thought it must be referring to a pyre. Would've been a bargain at $128.95.

No you dont need a big burner for single kings as they are all married

  • How suitable is it for camping with minimal gear? Does it take up much space compared to a gas stove with cooking fry pan? Is it easy to clean? Thanks.

    • It'd take more space, you'd need a bigger propane tank vs the little can ones camping stoves use.

      • This, it would take more space, BUT probably a better cook than those little canister jobs, IMO.

  • Will the stainless steel carry handles be a rust issue long term? Specs otherwise looks really good

    • The other half's lives outside (albeit under cover), and has done for years, I haven't seen any issues like that so far.

  • Was going to order but, checked the 1 star feedbacks/reviews, seems the company is good when order goes smoothly, when issues occur seems the company is not great to deal with.

  • Need a good portable charcoal bbq. Eyeing the matador from Bunnings for months, out of stock and no sign it is ever returning.

  • Purchased this two weeks ago in the Father’s Day sale, but the discount seems to be continuing. Perpetually on sale, or at least a regular sale item.

That being said, hard to go wrong with Kings. Their quality is generally excellent for the cost. Deliberated over this and the Weber Baby Q and just couldn’t justify the gulf in price. This suits my needs for the occasional snag.
