200 lumens is like a candle when comparing to other headlamp deals for that price

    • We also have stronger BioLite options on sale, including the HeadLamp 330 and the HeadLamp 750-lumen model.

        how about a 1100lm or 2000lm model?

        • Unfortunately not from BioLite, but we have other brands like the Petzl Swift RL 1100 or the Ledlenser H15R 2500 lumens.

For those that care about the charging cable

    INPUTS: Micro-USB Charge In

    • ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

    • Thanks for pointing that out! Yes, this model charges via Micro-USB, which is included.

  • I'm presuming this wouldn't be effective for me for the work I need to do in the crawlspace under my house. Any good recommendations for that kind of thing?

    • 200 lumens would work fine for general tasks in a crawlspace, but if you need really strong visibility or to light up a larger area, you might find it a bit underpowered. For that kind of work, I’d suggest stepping up to something brighter like the BioLite HeadLamp 330 or even the 750, which give you a stronger beam and longer high-output runtime.

    • I use this one pretty much daily for work. I only use on second lowest brightness and it's bright enough. And it has multiple colour temperatures (I only like/use the warm white colour but). Pretty good head torch.

Wouldn't pay $10, head torch market is much more competitive now.

  • I have a Black Diamond one which takes 3 AAA batteries. It's used for years on a daily basis and it still going strong. I wouldn't risk any other brand, mainly when the battery isn't replaceable.

  • I can’t comment on this particular model, but I purchased a biolite 330 which I needed to have replaced due to battery issues. The replacement’s battery has now also failed just outside of the warranty period. Personally I won’t be going near biolite again.
