I had a rental appraisal last week. The property manager gave me a sheet from here
$349 / year for 2 years.
So over 2 years $698:
2 x Smoke Alarm
1 x Gas
1 x Electrical

As a renter, I found Check and Inspect good to deal with - they notified me of the upcoming appointment, what would be carried out, and the tradesman arrived on time and was easygoing.
I found it cheaper just to use the electrician and plumbers that I use to to fix actual problems.
I give them pre-authorisation to fix issues they find up to a few hundred dollars.- saves a call out fee.
Cheaper than the all in one mob.
I also installed 10year lithium battery smoke detectors, for the property that is close to me, I go there every alternative year, press the test button and that's it.
These Gas and Electrical Safety Checks are a rort for landlords who do the right thing and maintain their properties well. In one of my rentals, I deliberately do not sign a new tenancy agreement, so go month by month. As the tenant signed the rental agreement say 5 years ago, the Gas and Electrical Safety Checks are not required for this property.
Someone quoted me this yesterday,
Gas only $299+gst
Electrical only $219+gst
Smoke only $99+ gst
Gas (multiple appliance) + Electrical + smoke $499+gst
