how compare to sonos arc ultra with sub?
Sonos Arc Ultra with Sub 4 and Era 300 would be better, but you will be paying premium for it.
But when comparing HW-Q990F with Sonos Arc Ultra sound bar on it own, HW-Q990F is cleardepends what you are using it for.
I have an older model (Q990B) and my friend has a Sonos setup - if you are wanting it for Atmos for movies, I would say the Samsung wins.
All subjective, if you can find a place where they let you test in store then that's something to do.I have a Q990B (which is an older model) and the full Sonos Arc Ultra with the Era300's. The Sonos in my opinion is the clear winner if you are looking for immersive sound. However, at more than double the price, is it twice as good as the Samsung? The answer is no! You just can't beat the Samsung for value.

Picked one up for $990 last EDU deal. This is the best!!
Picked one up for $1169 last month. Great soundbar, very happy with it.
