Hey everyone!

I'm Phil (graduated 17' Ruse), here to again promote a project over the past 1.5 years that I've built to democratize learning resources for students!

Studitory is an exam practice ecosystem (like Leetcode, or a hyper-personalised textbook) currently built for NSW Year 7-12 students on the HSC stream.

I started building Studitory to fix two problems:

  1. A lack of access to high-level, competitive practice resources, normally gatekept by tutoring centers behind thousands of dollars in tuition.
  2. A lack of transparency for students before they do exams. I hated thinking "I should've studied this more". But I didn't know better, because there was no way of doing so.

Since the initial post in February, I've been iterating on feedback and improving the platform to meet student needs. We now have over 20,000 exam questions classified by grade, subject, topic/subtopic, and a variety of tools to help students track their progress and improve.

Features

  • Question Bank: 20,000+ exam questions (and growing!) classified by grade, subject, topic/subtopic.
  • AI Marking + Tutor: Answers are sourced from humans whenever available. Then, each response is automatically marked by AI, with a score and feedback provided on how to improve. We are developing this logic on the cutting edge of AI in conjunction with the Data61 Team @ CSIRO for improved accuracy and reliability.

  • Exam Builder: Automatically create dynamic, mock HSC exams / topic tests / short exams by setting your own parameters

  • Study Groups: Share notes, progress with peers
  • Flashcards: Anki-style simple flashcards that can be generated on each question attempted

Happy to announce that the platform has helped out over 4000 students already, almost 5% of the whole 2025 HSC cohort!

As promised, until the end of HSC 25, access to features will be loose - just providing an early bird discount for the upcoming 2026 cohort.
This is not my FT job - funding will go straight back into development & sourcing more questions and content, especially for more niche subjects like SOR, History Ext 1,2, and other syllabi.

Current Subjects Available:

  • Mathematics Standard, Advanced, Extension 1,2
  • English Standard / Advanced / Extension 1
  • Physics / Chemistry / Biology
  • Economics / Business Studies
  • PDHPE / Health and Movement
  • Software Engineering (minimal)
  • Modern History (minimal)

The pH scale is used to measure how acidic or basic a substance is using the formula $\text{pH}=-\log_{10}[\text{H}^{+}]$, where $\text{H}^{+}$ is the Hydrogen ion concentration in moles per litre. A brand of orange juice has a Hydrogen ion concentration of $10^{-3}$. Find the pH of this orange juice.
