You should try the creamy tom yum in the orange packet by MaMa, it’s really good
That's not at Coles though?
Try pork if you like pork. Pork was the best selling in Thailand back then. The taste I think is slightly different to the local products. Another main difference is the price. The everyday price there is only about 30c for a 55g pack.
My other mama favorite is the rice vermicelli, only found in an Asian store I think.
I hacnt seen that vermavelli mama in a very long time ( only seen other flavour in awian store)
It wqs my fav, from memory tasted p3ppery
Bots before their breakfast
I like the texture of the noodles, same as the Nissin cup noodles. Thanks OP.
This or Nongshim?
This
both lol
both are good in their own ways
Both have differences. Both are tasty.
Nongshim (Shin Ramyun) = Korean style spicy noodles/ramyun
This (Mama) = Thai style noodles
what is everyones go to two min noodles these days.. i am a classic mi goreng lover and indomie and coles have been ok for me.. ventured and tried something new this week and got singapore noodles from aldi and 2 other noodles i think one spicy one and one standard mi goreng one.. singapore noodles was cheap but the taste was below average i had to add my own maggi seasoning and some sriracha to spice it up also the noodles were not the singapore noodles i am accustomed to so will just go with mi goreng next time
Mainly cartons of indomie (original or bbq chicken) or mama tomyum (ideally creamy) - Amazon or Costo normally have good deals, used to ship them from China but the recent changes stopped personal imports of food items via sea.
Otherwise, plain Vit's and Aldi beef/chicken ones are pretty good as well.
For the mama and aldi noodles I normally save the seasoning for other cooking. The plain Aldi/Vit bricks I season like indomie (kecap manis, garlic chili, chicken powder, fried shallots, white pepper) and keep the seasoning packets for other cooking. The Mama bricks I toss in soy sauce shallot oil or any other noodle dish.
The mama seasoning I just throw some prawns, squid, tomatoes, onions for a proper bowl of tomyum in winter.
Buldak pink is my go to these days..
The raccoon dog ones. Dunno what they're called, but they're Korean.
Neoguri is probably the one you are thinking of
Yes, yes it is. Love that little bit of kombu the have.
The Han Gomtang (Beef) is my new favourity after years of eating various Nong Shim noodles, Migoreng and MAMA Tom yum.
These are regularly in my pantry, in no particular order.
The Han Gomtang (Beef)
Nong Shim Hot & Spicy Bowl (I've stopped buy this because they changed the bowl from foam to paper and the noodles and flavours changed - in a bad way)
MAMA Tom Yum
Chappaghetti
Toomba
Prima Taste - Laksa (Not even a Laksa fan, but love this!)
Ichiran Tonkastsu Ramen
Nissan Black Garlic
Yum Yum - Chicken
I think I've consumed enough preservatives to preserve myself for life
Definitely not the gweilo/caucasian Maggi monstrosities sold at Colesworths. Go to your local Asian grocery and just take a random pick from there.
9/10 it's something worth getting. My favourite is a blue/white packaged one called seafood party.
The Han Kitchen Budae Ramyun and Nissin Ramen Kyushu Black are the best that are easily available in Australia, imho. (both at coles and woolies)
Indomie Ayam Geprek and Nissin Raoh Tantanmen are really good too, but more difficult to get.

if u haven't tried it with ur mi goreng: add juice from a wedge of orange.
No green curry flavour :(
The smaller version taste better than the jumbo one
never tried the others except the Tom Yum and i like to think it is the best flavor?
