Base price drop from a couple weeks ago, now down to $379. Code brings it down to $336.75. Excellent price for a 27in 4k 120Hz monitor.

This is the non-USB C version. Mine was shipped next day, taking delivery today.

I logged into my (newly created) Dell account and was offered a further $10 discount which brought the delivered price down to $326.76. YMMV

  • Not suitable for gaming (huge response time). If you use extreme GTG (4ms) expect ghosting in games (e.g. switch 2)

    • And creative work. Colours are super off and not factory calibrated. Got the qc and returned it.

      • +1

this. Colour accuracy is waaaaayyy off. By the time you spend the money & time to calibrate it you might as well buy a monitor that is much better calibrated out of the box. Their ultrasharp range is much better for that, as well as Asus ProArt.

As a regular daily office monitor though, hard to beat the value.

      • How do you quantify how accurate the colours are?

        • Graphic design work.

          • @ozchobie: Makes sense :) Colours aren't important in my field so my monitors use stock settings, but if there was a way a noob like me could tweak to make them more accurate I would

    Excellent home office screen.

Spend the extra for the QC model.

What is a QC model? I tried to google it and came up empty.

      • All you needed to do was press "computer monitors" on the dell page.

        • How good is that with a MacBook Air?

          • @Stealtho: MacBook Air models with the M4 chip support up to two external displays simultaneously in addition to the built-in display.

            You're fine up to 6k

        • But what does it do though? 👁️👄👁️ Like what is the feature that QC signifies?

          • @Joost: pretty sure it's just the port selection. Panel is the same.
            QC has USB-C.

This one has HDMI and DP

    • Personally I’m linked up to a tower PC so no benefit from USB-C connectivity

Wonder if it’s possible to mod this with a MiniLED backlight?

    • +10

Yeah it’s possible, here’s the steps:
Step 1: remove the monitor from the included stand
Step 2: put a mini led monitor on the stand
      Step 3: you did it!

  • Wondering 2 of these will be a good replacement to my 32 inch qhd setup for home office?

  • +1

If you want more colour accurate monitor and dont care about 120hz for office and content creation, I swapped mine out with this and much better. It may go down again on the next prime sale.

Good monitor I really like it, Got the usb c version so the speakers work as I have a Mac ☺️
However they used StarTrack to deliver it which is awful. I made sure I was home that day to accept it but the delivery driver was too lazy to deliver it so it went to the depot in Tullamarine which is over 2 hour round trip for me. They did eventually agree to a redelivery because it was the drivers fault but wondering if you’re the reason you’re expected to go Tullamarine? Not sure why they don’t deliver to post office but I’m not ordering from dell again because of this.

    • Do brightness keys and volume keys on your mac both work with the monitor?

      • I had to download a free app to get brightness and volume keys to work with keyboard called monitor control.

  • Bought two, fantastic for home office. Thank you!
