Went to cancel my subscription so that it didn't auto-renew on 6th Oct, and it popped up with this discount offer. Accessed via the PS app on my phone, not sure if it comes up on console too.
Can't confirm if it only gets offered with a certain time left in your subscription, or if it works for other PS Plus tiers, or if it's just targeted in general. Worth a try either way.
Amazon $10 off $100 PS gift card offer is still live as well.
Damn ok, maybe it's only when the time to expiry is shorter. Or could just be randomly targeted - only way to know is people trying I guess.
No discount available when I cancelled my Deluxe sub (expiring 5th Oct).
I'm going to load up 2 of the discounted $100 cards from Amazon & re-sub though, maybe I'll get a discount offer via email shrug

No discount here either. They're very much targeted offers and appear randomly.
I didn't get any offer. Mine expired a couple of weeks ago. $77 is still way too much for some shovelware and a network connection that should be free.
my plan was to not resub until days of play to get the 12months re-alignment
it is frustrating, my sub was due to expire during the state of play, when they had a discount on it.
because of the PSN outage earlier in the year Sony gave us an extra week.
I cancelled a week out, and I never got an offer like this, and have had no offers to rejoin.
was hoping this would apply to lapsed plans, but unfortunately not.

Possible unpopular opinion here, but I'm almost looking forward to my subscription ending so I can take a nice long break from PSN gaming! Have half a dozen great games on disk I'm yet to touch, including Astro Bot and it seems stupid to play them while paying for an all you can game PSN+ subscription. Not to mention doing some real life stuff like travelling.
I cancelled my subscription recently and received the 25% discount email. When I click through it's link to use it, no discount shows up. Clicking renew instantly reactivates and says ''thanks for the $214''. Tried in the android app and on PC. Anyone else having this issue or any tips on what to try?
From memory when I clicked through in the PS app the page didn't load properly, so I tried on console to see if the discount popped up there - it did, so I finished the purchase on console
Unfortunately I tried this and I had 3 months left in my membership but it did not give me the discounted option, so might just be targeted or depending on how much time is left in current sub.
