With the current redemptions plus the additional $200 store credit, seems like as good as a deal you're going to get these days for the EGO gear.

Additional store credit and redemptions stackable for all the kits.

If you're after the larger kits, can get $300 store credit + the larger 5ah battery redemption if spending over $1500.

If you don't need the blower, could probably offload it on marketplace for $200.

This looks like a good deal. I bought the Ego 56v 52cm mower combo in the last Father's Day sales. It's a beast and total overkill for my smallish lawn. This 47cm version would have been more appropriate. Having said that the Ego's do fold up nicely unlike my old petrol mower. The free blower is pretty powerful too.

  • Good for 250m2 lawn?

    • Yeah plenty fine. Just consider you might want an extra battery, that you can swap into. You can buy third party ones, $1-200 ish probably.

    • Yep. The 5ah battery should cover 250m2 just fine unless your mowing wet or knee height grass which will reduce battery life. Comes with an additional 2.5ah battery which you can use if the 5ah battery is charging. If you need another battery, check Facebook Marketplace. Plenty of people selling new batteries as they part of previous free Ego redemption promos.

  • Any retailers in Brisbane that can match that offer? No tkd stores here

  • I’m looking at this EGO lawn mower model, and I see that the minimum height adjustment goes down to 2mm. However, I noticed that newer models can be as thin as 2.5mm. Would that 0.5mm difference make a noticeable change in cutting height after mowing?

Additionally, this model appears to have a single blade, whereas the newer one utilises two blades. I’m curious, does the dual-blade system make a significant difference in performance or cut quality?

I would appreciate any advice from those who’ve used both.
