T&Cs and list of participating hotels are available in the app. I haven't been able to find it on the website.

I tried booking for a hotel that was listed as a Participating Hotel but then found out they weren't offering the 20% deal. Huge bummer. Hopefully you guys will have more luck.

Extra Accor Plus discount on top it

    • Only for another few days, next month it’s 15% off “the cheapest public rate” not 10% all rates that stacks with the 5% ALL discount

      • I don’t understand. Is that mean the change is better or worse?

It’s worse, I’ve just looked now.

As an example, with this deal the old Accor plus got 20% + 10% off.

Standard rates everyone got 5% off and Accor plus and extra 10% (15%)

Now you get 15% off only the lowest public rate, so no extra off any discounted rates, red hot rooms, or other offerings - including this deal.

The standard price for 2 weeks at a hotel I looked at in Melbourne was $2060 or so with 15% off the public rate and $2200 with “free breakfast” on the 20% off special rate (the hotel doesn’t do breakfast, lol). The 15% extra discount didn’t apply to the 20% off offering, AND it’s 20% off some weird rate; not the lowest public rate.

In other words, at BEST you save 5% extra, in reality this deal is worse than ALL+ rates because it’s 20% off a niche higher rate not the lowest public rate AND All+ doesn’t stack.

  • Anyone else’s search keep timing out?

    • Try different browser/incognito mode. Usually fixed it for me.

The prices for some of the hotels in Sydney that I've been keeping an eye on are inflated to cancel out the 20% off.. Accor is getting less and less affordable

    • yeah same here and it sucks that you can't even stack it with their discounted giftcards because you need to redeem them in-person

      • But it does work then because when you travel you can use the gift card?

        • not really - you would have already settled the funds via credit card before you would get there unless you're going in for last minute booking which you would probably lose out the 20%.

I can imagine that you can give them a ring and its possible with some workaround but its not gonna be worth the effort for staff unless you're stubborn

They have these promos all the time but it’s limited rooms and just defaults to the standard rates 99% of results

As per your experience, it’s almost always the case anything you look up just happens to not be offering it on those dates and instead provides the default prices. Bait advertising imo

Edit: hotel I looked up says it is “24% off” and eligible for the deal, but it’s literally the same rate it always is just with a worse cancellation policy…

  • I so t think it stacks. There was membership discount of 30% ont he hotel I was looking at and than another option with 20% off via this app deal. I will not be renewing next year.

    • It doesn’t stack, I’ve confirmed just now. Terms also say 15% off the “lowest public rate”. Promotions are ALL member rates and not public rates.

It use to be 10% off ANY rate.

Regarding this deal, it’s 20% off a niche rate not the lowest public rate - the 15% off lowest public was 10% cheaper for the hotel I checked.

  • Not working. Trying to book a room on sunshine coast. Landing page shows 20% discount but when you go to choose the room the prices are actually much higher, showing a -1% discount. Chat are trying to tell me promo has expired. Totally useless and incompetent.

    • I have found some of the hotel prices are slightly higher in the app as their "normal price" than on the website as well so that 20% off doesn't exactly equal to a real 20% off, which I think is a bit misleading. I booked an ibis budget hotel which actually had a decent discount on it compared to it's normal price in Sydney, but most hotels it doesn't even look too worth it.
