That's mad! I glossed over the promo, but knowing I can get the books too I'll jump in. Cheers for the heads up!
you mean you get to listen to 1 audiobook per month, not keep it
Yep - You can only pick one per month, and it's only available to your next renewal date - so make sure you add/start listening before running out of time.
Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers can listen to one audiobook at a time. Each month, you can continue to listen to the same title or select a new one. If you have a monthly plan, you can select a new title starting the day your subscription renews. For example, if your subscription renews on the 15th of the month, you will be able to select a new audiobook on the 15th of each subsequent month. With an annual plan, customers can select a new title starting the same date each month of your initial subscription date.
looks like once it's added to your account via the Amazon music app, it is then available in the audible app
Listen only, but not own the book?

Thanks OP, just cancelled my Spotify subscription last week so signed up for this one
better than Spotify?
Not in the slightest way imaginable.
It does have hi-res audio which Spotify still lacks, Amazon's app and algorithms are abysmal though.
What’s the dramatic difference then?
Are you able to cancel renewal? Had to talk to customer to cancel renewal, when I pressed cancel subscription I could only see pause or change subscription options
Yes you can. You can cancel straight after signing up and you still get the 4 months. Unlike Apple Music which cancels your trial asap
Do they have cancellation as an option. Because I didn't see one on my screen, not even in small letters.
Maybe it was just a glitchThere is a second yellow button saying confirm cancellation below the switch to this plan option. It took me a while to spot it.
I don't get the same splash screen image.
Got it for audiobook
TaI clicked the deal link and ended up getting charged $13.99 :/
it says new subscribers only in title. For me I used their trials before so I got this
Get started (button instead of Free Trial)
AUD 13.99/month. Cancel anytime. Terms applyI am sure can chat with support to reverse that charge
I didn't think I had used it before but maybe it got bundled with Prime or Audible at some stage. I spoke to chat and they kindly refunded it straight away.
For those who subscribe to this Unlimited service accidentally, make sure to deactivate the ‘voice purchasing’ feature in the Alexa app.
(Alexa sometimes asking whether we want to subscribe to it and perhaps the kids just say ‘yes’, unknowingly it cost money)
Open Alexa app, go to your settings, click account setting, then deactivate ‘voice purchasing’. Alexa won’t ask you anymore about subscribing to Unlimited Music.
Thanks - turned of ‘voice purchasing’.
The US have had their turn, now it's our turn to hook into some of Jeff's sweet sweet cash. Where are the lawyers when you need them?

I've had a free 3 month deal previously, and it just approved this for me in a single click - it remembered all my previous playlists, etc.
4x $13.99 = $56 is quite a lot of free money on paper. Imagin paying full price for these. My youtube premium is cheaper, paid from tk.
Awesome - got it. On checkout screen - it upgraded to unlimited family plan, no extra cost.
Using Songshift to move playlists over from Spotify - might make it permanent if it all works out. They offered this to me, I thought I was special.
I have been using the free Prime version of Amazon music. It’s great, all the podcasts are there. You can listen to all the music you want, They have special quite extensive “All Access” playlists which are fully free. Most other music you can listen in shuffle mode.
Quite acceptable to me, I don’t use music enough on the go to warrant spending $12.99 a month.
➕ You also get 1 free Audible audiobook per month, whilst subbed = 4 free books!
