[Switch 2, Steam, PS5, XSX] Yooka-Replaylee $30.77 for Owners of Yooka-Laylee @ Nintendo eShop/PS Store/Steam/Xbox Store

Just got an email from Playtonic as I was a backer of the original game. Basically if you have a digital copy of Yooka Laylee then you can get an automatic 30% discount on Replaylee in the same console family.

YOOKA-REPLAYLEE LAUNCH DATE, PRICE AND OWNER’S DISCOUNT

First of all, Yooka-Replaylee will be launching on October 9th on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S at the bargain price of $29.99/£24.99/28.99€. Owner’s of the original Yooka-Laylee will be entitled to an automatic -30% discount on Yooka-Replaylee digital release which, give or take a little error-prone rounding off, means you will be able to buy the game for approximately $20.99/£17.49/20.29€ (Can someone with the influence, PLEASE lobby for the ‘€’ symbol to be moved to the start of the numeric sequence, it winds us up far too much and is slowing down progress towards our 2035 aspirational goal – see next paragraph).

Unfortunately, the discount can only be applied to your digital purchase and within the same ecosystem, e.g. PC, PS4 > PS5, Xbox One > Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch > Nintendo Switch 2, this is beyond our control (until we buy all platform holders in the year 2035, pending unforeseeable disruptions to the current plans which can and probably will occur and deviate us from this lofty goal).
