Good Value + Quality Outdoor Garden Lighting?

Wanting to do some garden lights in the backyard. Likely go down one of two paths:
- Battery (or other ELV source) in shed that powers all of the light circuits, with smart relays for different zones (path, fencing, patio area festoon etc).
- Standalone solar lights (smart or not) with some lights on 240V.

Just wanting to check in terms of longevity and quality what has worked out to be the best value for people? Do I just go to bunnings etc - I've particularly found that the solar lights don't seem to last more than a year, but unsure if that's the battery/solar panel or the light itself…

  • Holman hasn't disappointed me yet, one that requires hardware.

    • Meanwhile I'm nothing but a disappointment to my Hol Old Man

  • I tried Holman solar lights but lasted only 6 months. I have brilliant multi colour powered ones, 3rd year and never disappointed me. Brilliant app is great too. One time setup. Let me know if you would like to see photos of lights working.

    • I'm interested, can you control your lights from Google? i.e. hey Google turn on the garden lights, or turn on the pathway, if multiple zones?
