  • As a Google fan, not a great deal at all, considering peony is available from OW for $179, and green is $199… $246 isn't great

    • They are sold out everywhere

    • Problem is OW is mostly sold out.
This seemed like one of the next best deals going currently

  • Is op associated with google? 4th google store post in 19 hours?

    • probs spams deals before posting actual ads

    • Not associated.
Was personally looking at buying some stuff so that's why I posted it up.

  • Telstra did 99 and 113 not too long ago

    • That was truly a bargain then..

    • 99 deal was so good. I love these buds

  • These google "deals" are terrible. Got these for $113 a couple of months ago

    • And that's about all they are worth.

      Awful buying at over 200.

  • I got these from the telstra deal. Very mediocre in my opinion but they do sit perfectly with little to no discomfort in my ears.

Multipoint is hit and miss, sound is very very average even when using wavelet.

    Ymmv

    • I haven't tried Wavelet specifically, but I recall the Poweramp AutoEQ being a bit mid-forward. I use the following EQ using the built-in functionality (Pixel Buds settings > Sound > Equalizer) instead:

      • Upper treble: +20
      • Treble: -20
      • Mid: 0
      • Bass: -10
      • Low bass: -20

If you use these settings, turn off all other EQ apps like Wavelet. To me, these settings sound neutral with a slight bass boost - about on par with my wired neutrally-tuned IEMs and headphones.

edit: Be sure to turn on ANC / transparency, too - I've found that it sounds much worse on "off".

  • waiting for a <$150 deal!

  • Bring back the Telstra $120 deal

  • Can someone please tell me if these translate calls such as on whatsapp or other platforms in real time?

    • I think the phone does that. Not headphones?

      • Thank you

  • Not a great deal… As others said, the telstra 120$ deal was absolutely stellar.

The anc isn't that great. The galaxy buds 2 pro beats it, and the wh-1000 Xm3, XM4, Xm5 beat both of them

Playback audio quality, again gets outdone by competitors.

It may be more comfortable for you than other buds but ymmv.
