I have received some Officeworks giftcards by returning a faulty item. What is the best way to convert these to cash or another type of gift cards. As it's multiple cards it's difficult to use online also

What's the profit here? I got a tab at half price and the tab was broken. Got the refund in gift cards and it's not enough to buy a new tab as now it's discounted and other models are full priced. I want to buy a tab from JBHiFi
If it was broken you had the right to ask for a replacement instead of a refund
The manager was extremely rude. She said the exact model should be in stock. And I paid $100 on gift card and rest in credit card. She insisted that partial refund is not possible.

Although the T&C's say returns are on the original purchase methods managers can override this, in fact its easier for them to do. This would not of been the store manager just a coordinator on a power trip. Let me guess it was an ex-display or returned tablet? They should of discounted an existing unit since they didn't do due diligence before selling it. Now your stuck with gift cards and they are stuck with a non-sellable tablet. Bad customer experience. I would call the call centre and ask for a supervisor, they can see the transaction then force a resolution from the store.

They closed that particular loop hole a few years back.
You meant you got some Officeworks gift cards at a discount and now want to convert them into cash for a profit. I don't think anyone who knows how to do this will risk posting it here.
