          @MaximusMilkshake: Lol I'm a simple person. The moment they start selling this at laptop prices and even desktop prices, what's worse for older mobile components, they've completely lost me. The "premium" is crap.

      I've been following the price of this mini-pc for a few months. I see it go on "special" for this price using coupons for a couple of weeks, then switch to a different promotion that ends up being the same price. Occasionally it will go back to full price. But not for long.

  As mentioned above it however around this price for months, just different promotions applied each time. I'm keen to get one, but will wait until $1,200ish, I picked up the previous model 890 pro at $990 last year.

  Less RAM (and soldered), but much faster RAM. It will make the iGPU more useful. Also more storage and it's cheaper (I'd wait for a better sale price though).

  Strix Point/Halo is so ridiculously overpriced though. It's a lot of power in a small package, but the use case in desktops is so specific to make it mostly pointless and it's bottlenecked by memory speeds.

  As others said, not a deal, this is the normal price. Minisforum does this for all their devices, it's either on "sale" or has a "coupon". I find that practice pretty crappy.

  Fingers crossed they do an actual sale on October for Prime Deals, but I wouldn't hold my breath
