  • I wouldn't be surprised if this was a slightly different model number to the one being sold by TGG/JB.

The ALDI one doesn't have 'La Specialista' printed on the machine (and looks like a different colour coffee grinder top).

    • Thanks. Will update the post. Couldn't find the model number.

      • Yep, unfortunately ALDI just has very basic information on their product page.

  • De'Longhi La Specialista Arte EC9155.MB

There is a newer model out now, 9255, so perhaps clearance?

    $530 at Amazon et al.
Does this look like a knock-off of a Breville, or just a generic coffee machine?

    • De'Longhi La Specialista Arte EC9155.MB

Looks similar to the DeLonghi LaSpecialista Arte EC9155MB, but with some difference as mentioned above.

I suspect it a variant of the same model just for ALDI.

      • +1

A badge-variant. They just don't want people price-matching, probably. Or it showing up in searches.

        • The model will be on the box once you see it on sale, then we can find out for certain. But I'm pretty sure that grinder is going to be very hard to dial.

          • @ATangk: 8 grind settings would drive me nuts, even with 25 on my machine I wish I sometimes had some extras.

Refurb Breville Express is around this price through their ebay store when a coupon pops up (probably will again with the next ebay sale), I'd go with that as a minimum. This looks to be a budget version of that machine anyway.

    • Reminiscent of a BES870 but with distinct differences.

  • BUT WHAT BEANS 😭😭

    • After many bags of trying different beans the only logical option was vittoria, half price often at coles/woolies, always available and taste was pretty decent if you get the grind right.
