I have had my Turbo Plus for quite a while. Great tent. Mine is the Canvas though, looks like the sale items are just for the Lite versions (not Canvas).

What's the main difference do you think?
durability?
heat dispersion?
weight? - pretty sure the lite tents are a fair bit lighter, but some of those lite tents are still 30+ kilos!!
If you're like a >4 time a year camper whole heartedly would recommend the canvas options, canvas is more durable and is better at regulating moisture/temperature. More expensive and heavier yes but so much better for the peace of mind canvas will give for 5-10 years+
the poly tents will likely last you the same amount of time but the materials aren't as durable as canvas is with regards to sun protection, waterproofing and just general wear and tear. So if you're camping once or twice a year they'll do the job just fine. They heat up more too but shouldn't be an issue with appropriate ventilation.

canvas is tougher, but has to be taken care of better.
It's less noisy in the wind and rain.
The frame and floor of both the canvas and lite models are pretty heavy, add the canvas fly and it's 2 or 3 times as heavy as my other nylon dome-style tent.

240 Plus canvas available for $810 is a bargain.

Loved my Blackwolf tent… until a 100ahr AGM battery that was sitting on a table next to it eventually pushed one leg into the soft ground and went right through the side. Hasn't been out of the shed in years :'( I have all the walls, awning extender, flooring… everything ugh.
These are great tents if you're in the market! The 240 should be ample for most people, but the 300 would be nice.

This or North Star?

You mean the Coleman North Star?
Pretty sure the BlackWolf are better quality.
The frame and poles on the Blackwolf are much studier, both use the instant-up system.
I would recommend the Blackwolf over the Northstar should weight and overall size not be an issue,
The Blackwolf's are quite large tents, so keep the size in mind.
Cheers!

They seem like decent tents, I was looking at these (canvas version) and the Oztents and ended up picking the Oztent, solely due to it being easier to put up solo and the potential for a completely sealed living area.

I can't find any Oztents in the same price range (unless you grabbed one on sale)?

I assume you're replying to me, the canvas version of the 300 is pricier and around the same price point as the Oztents (which at the time came with a free ~$400 air mattress too)

Shame they don't have family tents

What do you deem family sized? Both the 450 Cabin & Twin 300 are large and multi room. Note the numbers just refer to the width, so the 450 is 4.5m wide.

I thought only the 300 is on sale.
450 is more what I would be after
It's amazing what happens when you click on links

@dav3: I did and the promotion label is only over the 300.

It's why I never made an account to check.
@Nuclearvodka: Yep precisely why I made the original comment. That I wish they had it on the family sized tent. The responses prior to yours didn't address my original concern.
Thanks for posting it champ
@maverickjohn: Your comments are so confusing. Each one seems to have come from an entirely different train of thought. Thought I addressed your concern but I guess not.

@Hinee: Read the comments below, I thought the twin 300 was a 300cm tent, I didn't realise it meant 2x 300 equalling a 6.6m tent.
Anyway it's all good now

@dav3: You think I didn't realise the page scrolls?
But my error was in assuming the 300 was smaller than the 450. The 300 is actually a 6.6m long tent which is actually decent. I thought I read it was 300cm.
@maverickjohn: the product line and naming is pretty confusing for these. For the 240 and 300 the number is the dimensions of the main room ( i.e. 300x300), the plus variants add the back room which is an additional 180cm off the back. The twin are two main rooms joined together. The BLK are their blackout/dark room variants. The 380/450 are their cabin variants. Lite is poly materials (non lite being canvas).
They really do need to simplify it but hey.

What are the selected tents ? Just the one?

There's a label on the tents that qualify for the discount.

Lots of mixed reviews on these … zip quality, water leakage, etc.
Anyone experience these issues?
Not me, great tent for many years (240 plus lite)

I really liked our BlackWolf tent we had. I felt like it dispersed heat well.
