[SA] Honda CRF50F Kid's Dirt Bike $1,998 Rideaway (Save $600) @ Bridgeland Motorcycles, Murray Bridge

340

Looking for a dirt bike for my kid, Honda has a nationwide $500 off their Fun range (CRF50F, CRF110F, CRF125FB & CRF125FB). I've been shopping around to find the best price, and Bridgeland in Murray Bridge is taking an additional $100 off, making the CRF50F $1,998, down from RRP $2598.

I've been on Marketplace, and most bikes from the past few years are listed higher than this price. Obviously, it's not that convenient if not near Murray Bridge, but it might help squeeze another $100 out of a local dealer.

Great price, can't go wrong with a Honda.

Oh man… Had an old Z50 as a kid. I loved that thing. Hooning around paddocks in long grass. These days forget having that kinda space, lucky to have a backyard…

    • I got booked on one in the 80's, on the outskirts of a small rural town I rode it from my driveway directly across a road in to a +100 acre property I was allowed to ride. (profanity) cop threw the book at me. :(

  • Good on you for buying a proper dirt bike and keeping your kid off the road, unlike those moron fat boy e-bikes (they are motorcycles the go ridiculous speeds without pedals) harassing pedestrians illegally with no insurance.

    • Never seen anyone ride a surron or "e-dirt bikes" here in nsw.

I do see alot bogans and delinquents on unregistered dirt bikes, wearing balaclavas or t-shirts over their faces and weaving through traffic and dodging red lights through sidewalks. Oh and the occasional wheelie too

Buying a "proper dirt bike" has nothing to do with being an idiot on the roads. Most of the idiots on the roads are on dirt bikes, fully covered and looking behind to check for cops.

And no, fat bikes dont go faster than 45km/h
Most ebikes Max out at 25-40km/h - people commuting or Domino's delivery guys.
It's rare to see someone with a 60v/70v Frankenstein bike which can go 60+km/h
It's even rarer to see someone on a surron

      • Come to Sydney’s southern suburbs and have a look. I’ve been overtaken when doing 50kmh by Fat Bikes, they are e motor cycles

  • I grew up with bikes like this on the central coast. Great gift to get your kid.
