Just a heads-up for anyone subscribed to the Google One AI Premium plan (the one with Gemini Advanced).
Google has now bundled their Nest Aware subscription into the AI plan for free.

The best part is if you're already paying for Nest Aware separately, you can cancel it and get a pro-rata refund for the remaining time on your subscription. I was eligible for ~$91 refund.

This is a particularly good deal for anyone who got the Google One AI Premium plan for free with a new Samsung phone (like the S25, ZFold series promotion). You're essentially getting your Nest Aware subscription for free now too.

This seems targeted to users of the AI Premium plan, so YMMV.

  With nest aware now at $15, you'd be paying an extra $17 to get 2Tb storage + gemini. I should check how much I paid for nest aware…

  Had a quick look through as I was confused as well (stupidly confusing rebranding and naming), so if this helps…..
  Nest aware was $15/month —> now changed to Google Home premium (standard) = $15/month.

  Does anyone know where you can request a refund for the Nest Aware subscription? All I can see is where to cancel the renewal.

    When you log into your Google One account do the following:

    1. Make sure you are on the AI Pro 2TB or above plan
    2. Under the 'Benefits' screen (see on the left if you are using a web browser)
    3. You will see Google Home Premium as an included benefit. Click on it to activate it.
    4. When you trigger this it will automatically see you have an existing Nest Aware subscription and issue a refund, and then upgrade your Google AI Pro account to include the new Nest Aware (Home Premium) feature.
